Finally the time has come: as of right now you can order our sunglasses and the first helmets in size M/L in our webshop. We will deliver the first products to retailers in the next week, so you'll be able to try them on. To find out which retailer is closest to you, simply go to our storefinder. Just a few weeks to go until the next EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen, Germany. We are very excited to be part of this great tradeshow once more and we are looking forward to your visit at our booth. Don't forget, on the last day - the 29th of August 2015 - EUROBIKE will open its doors to the public. You'll find us outside in between hall A and B. Our booth number is FG-B6/5.
04.02.2015 ISPO 2015 in Munich
The ISPO trade exhibition and the city of Munich invites everyone to come and visit one of the world’s biggest exhibitions for the sports industry. From Thursday, February 5th until Sunday, February 8th professionals working in the sports sector will have the chance to take a glimpse at the latest trends, innovations and developments of the sector. Obviously ROCKWELL will be there. We’ll present our first series to retailers, and if all goes well, you will be able to find the first helmets at your local retailer around the corner. By then, the webshop will hold the first helmets ready for you as well...

Our homepage is now finally up and running.You have the opportunity to check out our products. As for now unfortunately they cannot be ordered but you can already open your own customer account, enter and edit your individual profile data, and set up a wish list that helps you to keep track of your personal favourite products. In addition you can use the products configurator that helps you to create your individual bike, ski and skate helmets. If you trusted bike or sports dealer is not listed in the store finder, please feel free to fill in the ‘’Recommend Retailer’’ form and share your favourite stores with us.
08.07.2014 The Berlin Fahrradschau
The Berlin Fahrradschau was a great chance for Eva Vogel-Kaup and Thomas Schirmer to finally present their patented concept. Before it was not completely foreseeable what the story behind ‘’Rockwell – Headgear for cyclists’’ was. The secret is out: It is a new helmet with a 3 layers system – Hardshell, Softshell and Globe-Cushions. One might argue that the layer system is already used by other bike helmet manufacturers however Rockwell does not use conventional EPS foam but comfortable ‘’Globe-Cushions’’ which ensures that energy is absorbed up to a point after which energy can find its way through to your head. Moreover, the individual ‘’Globe-Cushions’’ conform to the shape of the cyclist’s head to provide a more comfortable fit. The damping cushions constitute the first layer. On that layer lies an intermediate layer, which is offered in 8 different colours.
The Hardshell on the other hand is available in 4 colours and can be easily combined. The helmets are primarily aimed at urban cyclists. Preparations and hard work for this innovation had been going on for two years. The helmets can be ordered in August directly from the website or in selected stores. The price is around 139 €.

The Start-Up and finalist ''Rockwell Headgear'' at the ISPO Brand New Award 2014 highly deserved a booth at the ISPO in Munich. The company offers stylish and modern helmets with an innovative design, which provides much needed protection to the head. In selecting suitable materials, Rockwell rejected conventional EPS foam. Why is it that cyclists in cities or mountain bikers rarely wear a helmet? Two main reasons would be the wearing comfort and appearance. Together, the two founders Thomas Schirmer and Eva Vogel-Kaup of Rockwell based in Düsseldorf imagined how this could be changed and thus designed a headgear that does not only extremely functional but also looks good.
